I've installed the app (4.7.2) on my Mac (OS 10.6.8). When I launch the app I have the following error. Could someone provide me a **simple** fix please? (I'm really not fluent with the Unix commands...).
Thank you in advance.
Here is what have in the Terminal console:

"sage -clone" fails like this:
$ ./sage -clone pdiff
Now cloning the current Sage library branch...
hg clone sage sage-pdiff
updating to branch default
abort: data/sage/rings/power_series_ring.py.i@8c895bf765d1: no match found!
Error cloning

user 0m6.099s
sys 0m2.200s
I found that power_series_ring.py exists in */Applications/sage/devel/sage/sage/rings* but I do not know how to fix this issue as far as Mercurial is concerned. Can I rebuild the hg database? How else might I proceed to a fresh clone? Thanks!jayAWWed, 27 Mar 2013 22:32:45 -0500http://ask.sagemath.org/question/9949/quitting sage.app leaves processes runninghttp://ask.sagemath.org/question/9797/quitting-sageapp-leaves-processes-running/Using sage.app under Mac OS X 10.6.8

when I quit sage.app (choosing 'Quit Sage' from the 'Sage' menu), several processes continue to run (see below for 'ps x' output).
Is this normal? Could I have messed up my Sage installation? I've been installing CPLEX and Gurobi lately. I've run 'sage -b' several times.
thanks, Daniel

Daniel FriedanMon, 11 Feb 2013 06:06:48 -0600http://ask.sagemath.org/question/9797/How do I save .sws files from notebook() on Safari?http://ask.sagemath.org/question/8515/how-do-i-save-sws-files-from-notebook-on-safari/Hi
I am running SAGE 4.7.2 on a Mac OS X 10.6.8 (local compilation) and using notebook() from within SAGE. I also use SAGE on a Virtual Box installation on Windows 7 on a PC. On the latter I can save copies of my worksheets to my Dropbox etc and then upload them into SAGE on the Mac; however I am incapable of working out how to save them from the Mac so I can back them up/use them on the PC!!
I briefly had a binary version running on the Mac in which it WAS indeed possible to do all this; but I no longer have that option at the top of the notebook() Safari screen. I noticed a thread from earlier this year in which there seemed to be similar problems; but it seems to have fizzled out without resolution.
As a start, where are the .sws files saved locally (if at all)? I have done tons of searches of my local machine and have turned up nothing .... sorry!!
Thanks a lot for any help ...

Let me start by thanking you for the recent advice which made it possible to use SageTeX with sage 4.7.1. I am so happy that I can use that.
However, after I upgraded to the new version of sage, sage 4.7.2, I can't get SageTeX to work again. I can't figure out what's wrong, and would greatly appreciate any help you might be able to give.
Here is what I did after installing sage 4.7.2 (app-version under Mac OS 10.6.8). The analogous setup worked for sage 4.7.1:
I copied the new version of the sagetex.sty-file coming with sage 4.7.2 to the folder ~/Library/texmf/tex/generic/sagetex/ and updated the call of sage in the sage.engine of TeXShop (the path to the application is correct, because it will start sage in a Terminal session).
With the new setup, according to the log file of TeXShop, sage is called when running the sage.engine of TeXShop, but still none of the output sage should produce for the example.tex-file provided is shown. Instead there are question marks. As might be expected one gets also lots of LaTeX warnings about undefined references.
What could be the problem?
Regards,
