For instance,
[(E.ainvs(), E.rank()) for E in cremona_curves(srange(a,b))]
Can the same be done on sage with the Stein-Watkins database?ajbSun, 21 Jan 2018 05:08:37 +0100https://ask.sagemath.org/question/40721/name of the curve in Cremona's databasehttps://ask.sagemath.org/question/35118/name-of-the-curve-in-cremonas-database/ Hi. I have checked on PARI that for my elliptic curve `E : ellinit([0,0,0,-3267,45630])`, the function `ellidentify(E)` returns `"102a1"` as the curve on Cremona's database. Do sage have a code to do this? Thank you.ShaTue, 11 Oct 2016 01:47:28 +0200https://ask.sagemath.org/question/35118/Finding Cremona label of the elliptic curve $y^2 = x^3 - x^2 - 1008x + 48512$https://ask.sagemath.org/question/33655/finding-cremona-label-of-the-elliptic-curve-y2-x3-x2-1008x-48512/I want to find out the Cremona label of the elliptic curve given by $$y^2 = x^3 - x^2 - 1008x + 48512.$$ I have tried the following commands in Sage but getting errors.
1) E=EllipticCurve(QQ,[0, -1, 0, -1008, 48512]);E.cremona_label()
2) d=CremonaDatabase().data_from_coefficients([0, -1, 0, -1008, 48512])
d['cremona_label']
I would like to know why I am getting errors and also how to find out the Cremona label of the above elliptic curve.SumanFri, 03 Jun 2016 08:59:08 +0200https://ask.sagemath.org/question/33655/Cannot install Cremona databasehttps://ask.sagemath.org/question/25566/cannot-install-cremona-database/ Tried to install big Cremona database via !Sage command. Syntax error was returned. bweinfachTue, 20 Jan 2015 04:02:45 +0100https://ask.sagemath.org/question/25566/Finding Cremona label for Tunnell's y^2-x^3-n^2xhttps://ask.sagemath.org/question/9122/finding-cremona-label-for-tunnells-y2-x3-n2x/When I enter
E = EllipticCurve([-n^2,0]); E;E.label()
Sage gives an error that I have an unsupported operand type. I assume the problem is that I have not defined the variable 'n', which is a square free integer, but how does one do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!memory13Mon, 02 Jul 2012 11:20:30 +0200https://ask.sagemath.org/question/9122/
