The best thing would be that when one uses sagetex, Sage remembers what formulas are already computed and stored in foo.sout, and recomputes them only when they are modified. Do you think it's possible?
Thanks!Mon, 20 Aug 2012 06:33:30 -0500http://ask.sagemath.org/question/9255/caching-sagetex-results/Comment by Michele for <p>Is there a way to cache computations already done in a latex file using sagetex so that, for example, if I add a Sage code line in <code>foo.tex</code> when I run <code>sage foo.sagetex.sage</code> the computation starts from that line and not from the beginning?</p>

http://ask.sagemath.org/question/9255/caching-sagetex-results/?comment=19106#post-id-19106Thanks, I'll try. I visited the link you indicated but it's not immediate for me to understand how to open an issue. As soon I have more time I'll definitely try!Thu, 06 Sep 2012 06:23:50 -0500http://ask.sagemath.org/question/9255/caching-sagetex-results/?comment=19106#post-id-19106Comment by kcrisman for <p>Is there a way to cache computations already done in a latex file using sagetex so that, for example, if I add a Sage code line in <code>foo.tex</code> when I run <code>sage foo.sagetex.sage</code> the computation starts from that line and not from the beginning?</p>

http://ask.sagemath.org/question/9255/caching-sagetex-results/?comment=19180#post-id-19180Probably possible, but not necessarily yet. You may want to open a bug/feature issue at https://bitbucket.org/ddrake/sagetex/Fri, 24 Aug 2012 10:04:06 -0500http://ask.sagemath.org/question/9255/caching-sagetex-results/?comment=19180#post-id-19180
