https://ask.sagemath.org/question/49651/differentiate-y-7x2-2x3x42cos24x/?answer=49670#post-id-49670This is relatively easy to do using the documentation, see the basic algebra page on differentation: https://doc.sagemath.org/html/en/tutorial/tour_algebra.html#differentiation-integration-etc.
One of my favourite problems is to show that:
$$\int \ln(x) dx = x\ln(x) - x + C$$
In sagemath this can be done as follows:
u = var('u')
f(u) = ln(u)
f
u |--> log(u)
integral(f(u),u)
u*log(u) - u
You should be able to adapt this example to your case.Fri, 24 Jan 2020 19:38:00 +0100https://ask.sagemath.org/question/49651/differentiate-y-7x2-2x3x42cos24x/?answer=49670#post-id-49670Comment by vdelecroix for <p>This is relatively easy to do using the documentation, see the basic algebra page on differentation: <a href="https://doc.sagemath.org/html/en/tutorial/tour_algebra.html#differentiation-integration-etc">https://doc.sagemath.org/html/en/tuto...</a>.</p>
