I was directed to ctan.org
After reading a bit about it, I decided that I did not need it. But since this test, whenever one of my exercises launches I get the following message and nothing else. How to get rid of this? Thanks in advance for your time.

https://ask.sagemath.org/question/45106/problem-with-boring-message/?comment=45170#post-id-45170Excuse me for the delay in answering you. I did a restoration of my previous work to the problem caused by the use of LaTeX, which I do not need, and everything is back to normal. Sorry for your lost time.Thu, 24 Jan 2019 09:28:04 -0600https://ask.sagemath.org/question/45106/problem-with-boring-message/?comment=45170#post-id-45170Comment by slelievre for <p>In one of my worksheets I wanted to test Latex. Are you using Sage in the SageNB notebook or in the Jupyter Notebook?Sun, 20 Jan 2019 03:30:32 -0600https://ask.sagemath.org/question/45106/problem-with-boring-message/?comment=45111#post-id-45111Comment by wisher for <p>In one of my worksheets I wanted to test Latex. https://ask.sagemath.org/question/45106/problem-with-boring-message/?comment=45110#post-id-45110Good evening, I do not use Latex.After being seen on the site ctan.org I decided that I did not need Latex.
I also tried bits of codes like
var ('z ')
print latex (z ^ 12)
to see what that gave. As said in my request I always get the following message.
**Error: PDFLaTeX does not seem to be installed. Download it from

What is serious now is that if I activate cells that already contain code that worked I still get this message and nothing else.Sat, 19 Jan 2019 16:12:50 -0600https://ask.sagemath.org/question/45106/problem-with-boring-message/?comment=45110#post-id-45110Comment by Emmanuel Charpentier for <p>In one of my worksheets I wanted to test Latex. https://ask.sagemath.org/question/45106/problem-with-boring-message/?comment=45108#post-id-45108I'm running *H. sapiens sapiens L.*, without any upgrades such as divination coprocessor or telepathic interface. Without any details about what you attempting, it's quite hard for me to guess if LaTeX is or not needed for it.
**What in hell are you trying to do ?**Sat, 19 Jan 2019 13:31:36 -0600https://ask.sagemath.org/question/45106/problem-with-boring-message/?comment=45108#post-id-45108
