http://ask.sagemath.org/question/43896/how-to-install-database_gap/?answer=43899#post-id-43899Could you please give us some informations about your system:
- which OS ?
- which binaries ?
**EDIT** : could you please installl the `build-essential` package from yoour distro an try again ? If it does not work, you could try to install the packages that are listed at https://doc.sagemath.org/html/en/installation/source.html#linux-prerequisite-installation
If you still have a problem (it will probably be another message), you can report here or try to compile the whole Sage from source : https://doc.sagemath.org/html/en/installation/source.htmlWed, 10 Oct 2018 09:06:30 -0500http://ask.sagemath.org/question/43896/how-to-install-database_gap/?answer=43899#post-id-43899
