sage

from sage.misc.banner import banner
File "/opt/sagemath-8.3/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/sage/misc/banner.py", line 16, in <module>

"libSingular not found--a working Singular install in $SAGE_LOCAL "
RuntimeError: libSingular not found--a working Singular install in $SAGE_LOCAL is required for Sage to work
Maybe I am wrong but i think it is caused by environment variables. Is there any easy way to fix it? I didn't get any error or warning during installation.
Thanks for any reply!

https://ask.sagemath.org/question/43452/libsingular-issue-windows/?comment=43484#post-id-43484In the shell, what does `echo $SAGE_ROOT` output? What about `echo $SAGE_LOCAL`? Did you install to the default location? Beyond that it's hard to say what the problem is. Try reinstalling.Mon, 27 Aug 2018 03:10:05 -0500https://ask.sagemath.org/question/43452/libsingular-issue-windows/?comment=43484#post-id-43484Comment by alexx600 for <p>hello, when i try to run sage i have got following response:</p>

https://ask.sagemath.org/question/43452/libsingular-issue-windows/?comment=43515#post-id-43515All I can imagine is some kind of permission issue, or possibly a virus scanner deleting files that it has false-positives for.
