http://ask.sagemath.org/question/35141/what-are-all-the-tricks-to-install-sage-from-source-faster/?answer=35146#post-id-35146Building in parallel is described in the `README.md` file in Sage's main directory: `export MAKE="make -j4"` (for 4 threads) and then `make`. There may be other tricks for speeding things up depending on the platform. Try reading [Sage's installation guide](http://doc.sagemath.org/html/en/installation/source.html) for tips. It certainly describes the relevant environment variables.Thu, 13 Oct 2016 10:23:39 -0500http://ask.sagemath.org/question/35141/what-are-all-the-tricks-to-install-sage-from-source-faster/?answer=35146#post-id-35146
