For quite a while I used beta 1 of 6.10 which worked fine. Today I decided to move to 6.10 and it's back to non-working. What's going on?

https://ask.sagemath.org/question/32094/sage-610-not-working-again-on-macos/?answer=32099#post-id-32099How did you manage to get there? You should
* Open the DMG (or tar.bz2)
* Drag the SageMath folder / app to where you want it to be (possibly rename it)
* Start sage
This will then automatically patch paths in binaries. Once it is installed you cannot move the installation any more. https://ask.sagemath.org/question/32094/sage-610-not-working-again-on-macos/?comment=32101#post-id-32101I did exactly this in the correct order. On the first start it also patched a lot of binaries (lots of stuff scrolling) and then yielded this error. Let me try again.Thu, 07 Jan 2016 16:36:07 +0100https://ask.sagemath.org/question/32094/sage-610-not-working-again-on-macos/?comment=32101#post-id-32101Comment by Thomas for
How did you manage to get there? https://ask.sagemath.org/question/32094/sage-610-not-working-again-on-macos/?comment=32103#post-id-32103OK, reproducably, If I rename the folder from SageMath to just "sage" I get this error.Thu, 07 Jan 2016 18:14:59 +0100https://ask.sagemath.org/question/32094/sage-610-not-working-again-on-macos/?comment=32103#post-id-32103Comment by Volker Braun for
How did you manage to get there? https://ask.sagemath.org/question/32094/sage-610-not-working-again-on-macos/?comment=32106#post-id-32106Just to be clear, you can only move / rename the SageMath folder before you start it for the first time.
Once you started sage, you can neither move nor rename it. The "Updating various hardcoded paths" message is incorrect and does not do it.Thu, 07 Jan 2016 18:42:09 +0100https://ask.sagemath.org/question/32094/sage-610-not-working-again-on-macos/?comment=32106#post-id-32106Comment by Thomas for
How did you manage to get there? https://ask.sagemath.org/question/32094/sage-610-not-working-again-on-macos/?comment=32107#post-id-32107OK, thanks. It works now. So the directory is not relocatable after first start?Thu, 07 Jan 2016 20:55:53 +0100https://ask.sagemath.org/question/32094/sage-610-not-working-again-on-macos/?comment=32107#post-id-32107Comment by Volker Braun for
How did you manage to get there?
