hello a) i would just like to uninstall everything linked with jyputer i have tryed zith pip3 uninstall jupyterlab for example and again pip3 install jupyterlab not successful your instructions dont work i create an other post to install on my new linux computer i am totally despaired not any longer having jupyter thought having spent hours to try myselft and try your instructions i need it really for my work.....

hello \ i would after one week ill i come back to this topic

just like spent again 30mn on it…

a bit nervous because it used to work very fine one month ago and i need to work… :-)

now, i ave successfully done this :

    $ pip install pip-autoremove
    $ pip-autoremove jupyter -y
    pip uninstall everything linked with jyputer
 
i notebook
    pip uninstall jupyter_core
    pip install jupyterlab

now, when i open Sagemaths-9.4 on my mac, and select jupyternotebook, it works, i can open all my files

but :

there is a kernel error : while graphics of all my files, though any new instruction is not executed, be the instruction typed in an empty cell ofone of my files or in a new file.

in /usr/local/share/jupyter/kernels/ i only have tryed zith a sagemath_9_2_all folder

i dont understand where the problem stands before there was a Sagemaths_9_5 kernel there, i typed :

pip3 uninstall jupyterlabjupyter kernelspec uninstall

for example
 
and again pip3 install jupyterlab
not successful

and it said : Couldn't find kernel spec(s): /usr/local/share/jupyter/kernels/SageMath-9.5/

so i have rm -r the 9.5 kernel and the problem remains the same…

file. Also, i can not rename a new file, it is said "settings is null"

for info, in /usr/local/share/jupyter/kernels/ the folder : /usr/local/share/jupyter/kernels/, i only have a sagemath_9_2_all foldersagemath_9_2_all.
