Regarding "... are now all opening ...", was there any recent change to the environment? system upgrade? new version of Sage? other?

How do you open these files: from Jupyter Notebook? from JupyterLab? using nteract? other?

Regarding "are now all opening as python3", does this mean "using the Python 3 Jupyter kernel"? or "using the SageMath Jupyter kernel based on Python 3"?

There should be a menu "Kernel" with an item "Change kernel" which allows to select "SageMath".

Regarding "things don't work", can you be more specific? What does not work? 2 + 2? print? range? xrange? dictionaries? other?
