If PCs have Linux installed with all the same version, you can install Sage on them by repeating a single procedure. Otherwise (if students have their own laptop, mostly running windows), the solution using self-replicating live USB key works quite well.

As explained, unless you have a huge server set up for that purpose or few students, the local server solution won't work alone, but it helps to get rid of a few remaining recalcitrant PCs.
