Sage only includes IPython 0.10, and I believe it's going to take some work to upgrade to 0.11.
(I also may be remembering wrong, but did Fernando Perez, one of the IPython developers, suggest that we wait until 0.12?)

Sage only includes IPython 0.10, and I believe it's going to take some work to upgrade to 0.11.0.11. In particular, if you look at the list of changes from 0.10 to 0.11, there are number of backwards-incompatibilities.
(I also may be remembering wrong, but did Fernando Perez, one of the IPython developers, suggest that we wait until 0.12?)
