Uploading from computer
I need to upload a half-completed file off my computer for a class project. I can drag-and-drop the file just fine, and I get the confirmation, but when I go to my files it's not there. What am I missing?
Hi! I think that we need a few more details here - precisely what Sage file are you talking about, what operating system, what Sage version, etc. I can think of a few possible problems you might be having, but they would be quite different with the Windows virtual machine versus Linux or Mac, and also based on what file you actually want to move. I have a similar problem. I am trying to upload a sage sesion, extension sws, but when i choose the file from my computer, although it shows a check mark after (aparently) loading, I dont find the file in any place. I am using ubuntu in an acer laptop with mozilla, but I havent tried other computers, so I dont know if it is the machine that I am using. Also, I tried other extension files: png and pdf, and I have the same problem.
Again, you could be having the same problem, but without a little more detail it's hard to know. Are you using the Sage notebook? If so, exactly where are you uploading it in the program? I just uploaded something today and it worked fine. Or are you trying to add a data file to an existing worksheet? Thanks!
