Publish notebook with 3d plots [edited]

0 Is there a way to export/publish plots along with code used to create them? On sagenb if I go to the link I get when I click "publish" I don't see any plot. I don't need an interctive plot, just something graphical to show. Thank you in advance, Paolo. asked Nov 10 '11 3mpty 1 William Stein 1205 ● 5 ● 17 ● 40 http://wstein.org/ 1Are you talking about a 2d or 3d plot? It seems like things work fine for 2d plots: http://sagenb.org/home/pub/3645/Jason Grout (Nov 10 '11)Yes, this works too well for 2d plots sometimes - if the image is still in the directory on one with "remove output" it will show up again :) kcrisman (Nov 10 '11)This commit didn't fix that? http://code.google.com/p/sagenb/issues/detail?id=12&can=1&q=outputJason Grout (Nov 10 '11)Maybe, but I only am using local installs without this in it.kcrisman (Nov 11 '11)Forgot to mention that, I'm talking about 3d plots.3mpty (Nov 11 '11) see 1 more comment

0 This isn't the workaround you probably want, but you can use sage: var('x,y') (x, y) sage: plot3d(x^2+y^2,(x,-1,1),(y,-1,1),viewer='tachyon') to at least get a plot that should stick around. However, it will look different and cannot be manipulated dynamically. posted Nov 11 '11 kcrisman 6784 ● 14 ● 67 ● 152
