can i connect to a sage server?
from the terminal WHITOUT using a web browser? maybe using ssh?

The answer should be "yes", as explained here using the "Simple Sage Server API" that Robert Bradshaw wrote. Note that there are some known bugs/issues (trac 9327 and 9785) with this right now, which you may have to patch around.

To clarify, you're asking for a remote connection, say through ssh, right? (Not the same console/terminal as the sage process.)
