interact does not work in jupyter lab

I've tried every answer here and followed the URL trial, but no fix seems to make interact work in jupyter lab. Has anyone got a recent solution? It works in plain jupyter but I really like the lab.

What operating system? What version of Sage? How was it installed?

For reference, interact works well in Jupyterlab with Sage 9.5 and Sage 9.6.beta5 (tested on Ubuntu 20.04).

Sorry, windows 10, Sage 9.3. Well, that answers the problem. The Windows port only goes to 9.3 so I guess I'll have to wait for them to update. I don't know why sage is waiting for one guy to update. Windows is a pretty big OS.

Installing via Windows Subsystem for Linux is another option.

It seems it provides a faster Sage than the one from the Sage-Windows installer based on Cygwin.
