I am running sagemath 7.3 via a VM from VirtualBox. I wish to use a UK keyboard layout. I have with version 6.9 used Chrome with an address of localhost:8000. This still works with my 6.9 VM but not with 7.3. This is true irrespective of whether I specify the Jupyter notebook or the original sage notebook.

Have you tried the "keyboard layout" instructions at https://wiki.sagemath.org/SageApplian... ?

Thanks for the suggestion - I had done this - but I had specified 'uk' as the keyboard type. When I tried again after your suggestion, I consulted the list of types and discovered I should have used 'gb'. All is now fine
