Know if Sagemath is still working

Sometimes I have to do some works in Sagemath that takes some time, like 3 or 4 minutes, but after a time, I don't know if Sagemath let the work or is still working. Someone knows a way to know if Sagemath is working after certain time that doesn't use measuring time?
