Suggestions? I really would like to get this downloadable on my Xubuntu 64 system... -Bill.
Did you check the md5 digest? 649b24bc22f16a6550dff16da256bced
The command is md5sum on Ubuntu.

| Well, Mr. Md5sum decided to go home early, declaring an error, when I invoked it on the downloaded file. (thanks for the suggestion, ccanonc, anyway!) However, you got me to thinking that maybe this will require a bit more delicacy. So, I tried downloading again, but this time using a download manager, and voilĂ -- the Md5sum checked[!] So, I am a happy camper! -Bill
Sounds like your hard disk may have badblocks.
